“The Isle of Wight Council are pleased to announce that they have
invested in a new Verti Drain machine to improve the durability of our pitches.

The Verti Draining process works by aerating the soil to assists drainage,
improving the soil structure, and aiding root development making the
pitches harder wearing.

The Isle of Wight Council have started to use this equipment on the pitches we manage and are keen to offer for use on club and town council managed
pitches in due course.

We are working on a package to offer to clubs and will distribute
this via the DFA”.
